Almost six weeks post op and I'm having ear pain

I dont know why, but after I had my surgery I started to get an earache in my right ear. I went to my own doctor who gave my prescription for Zithromax. It started to go away but then it came back, not only does it hurt but it seems like its blocked and, this is going to sound strange, but I can hear the blood rushing in my ear. I did go back to the doc and he did check my ear again and he said everything looked good, so I wonder what's going on? Has anyone that's had the surgery had this problem afterward? This is probably all coincidence. This is really weird Ive never had anything like this before.
