Is this stomach flu or surgery related?

I have had pain below my waist line for a few days, I am 9 weeks post op. Monday at work I felt yuckky, ended up on the toilet constipated for a while (never get this) and then an hour later I was back on with severe diarrhea. Felt run down and sick all afternoon, went home early. Off work today, feel nauseous, need to go and nothing comes out. Belly area is very tender to the touch, trying hard to drink more water than usual, which is never what it should be. Anyone had similar problems? I can't wait to get the energy others talk about though, I can't even drag myself around.
