What could this pain be?

I am almost 7 weeks post-op Open RNY (down 44 lbs). I've been pain free since about a week after surgery, just the usual aches associated with any surgery. Last night, I wasn't feeling so hot after trying a new food, and ended up dry-heaving (sorry about that visual!) and had a sudden, sharp pain in my stomach - just above and to the left of my belly button. It hurts still today, but doesn't feel like there's a lump there. Should I be worried? Should I wait a couple of days and see if it goes away (maybe I overdid it?). I hate calling the doctor if its nothing...
