Pain that feels like gallbladder but had GB removed a week ago

Help! I'm waiting to hear back from my doc. I had my gallbladder removed a week ago because I was having what was assumed to be gallstones/attacks and the ultrasound showed gallstones. Last night I went to the ER because I had the same attack but worst. It started at my sternum burning and pain and radiated to my back, tightening and hurting under my ribs, hard to breath. It also felt like something was going right through my stomach to back. Could this have been something I ate? I didn't really feel nauseaus, just a little from the pain. I did have some popcorn, but not each time I've had an attack. THis is about the fourth time it's happened but worst each time. Had anyone experienced this? Do you have any ideas? Thanks!!
