When is it time to have an endoscopy performed?

Im 5-6 weeks out and still have a problem with vomiting. I dont throwup after every meal but it does seem to be getting worse because now I seem to vomit up solids whereas earlier it was just fluid. I realize that this could be due to me eating too much, too fast but Ive also read posts from people who said that all their vomiting problems cleared up after they found out they had an ulcer. How would I know if its an ulcer or not.
