Insurance company sent back paperwork to surgeon , wanting updated referal.

Hi, I took this as a good sign but maybe I'm just anxious LOL. Anywhoo, I got a call yesterday from my Surgeons office stating that my insurance company, PacifiCare had sent back my paperwork because the referal from my PCP expired before the surgery date. She told me that for them to cover it, the referal had to be updated, that's what they said. My PCP office got right in there and got the new one asap, and now papers have been resubmitted. Would you take this as a good sign, that they are at least considering my case? They want the referal, but I have never asked for any surgery that wasn't straight across the board covered, so I don't know what to expect, any input you can give would be greatly appreciated, Thanks !!!!
