eating disorder exclusion

My insurance company has an exclusion that states they do not cover the "treatment of eating disorders with medications or gastric bypass surgery". Do you think I can appeal on the grounds that I do not have an eating disorder and therefore that exclusion does not apply to me. Has anyone gotten around that specific exclusion before? Thank you for any help you can direct me to!
