What are these pains????

Since yesterday, I am having severe pain in my lower right side of my back and it seems to move to around to my side. I thought this was gas pockets moving around but so far nothing has been relieved. I tired walking alot last night and it helped some of the gas come out but still no relief. Also, I have noticed that I have a pain that runs all around (front and back) at the lower part of my ribs when I take deep breaths. What are this pains??? And what can I do to get rid of them? Does the back and side pain sound like gas? It seems to help if I put deep pressure with my fist in the area where the stabbing pain hits. This pain is not constant, happens about every 3-5 minutes. Also, I got some relief by laying on my right side on a hard couch. Sorry this is so long, I just wnated to make sure you have all of the information. Thank you for ANY advice. Candi p.s.
