Pain may be phantom pain!

I had severe cramping pain the other night. It was about an 8 out of 10. I was doubled up but decided to eat something to try and break the pain cycle. The pain stopped. The doctor thinks some of us have phantom pain similar to what amputee's get when they feel pain in their missing limb. By eating, I broke the cycle of nerve messages that kept being sent to the brain. Hope this helps someone.
