what are the symptoms of intestinal blockage?

Since my surgery on 4-5-01, I've suffered with terrible constipation. I've tried Milk of Magnesia, Benefiber, Senokot, etc. I usually go for a week without a bowel movement, and even then not much of one. My stomach is usually hard and swollen. I took a dose of M.O.M and two enemas yesterday morning with still no results. Just wondering could I possibly have a blockage?
