Anyone had a second surgery to move the port due to pain?

I've had debilitating discomfort and often outright pain in my port area and a bit down and to the left. The port is in my abdominal muscle a couple of inches to the left of my midsection. Has anyone every had a port located there and then had a second surgery to have it placed near the sternum? I'm scheduled to have this done on 2/6/03 (I am approx. 4 months post-op). If you've had this done, has it helped you, and have you had any new/different problems from it?
