Has anyone experienced pain in the upper right abdomen 2 weeks post op?

My doctor first said it was constipation but after it didn't go away he said that it was from a very large stitch he took. He said it will go away as fast as it came. Right now I'm on pain meds. I'm taking laxatives which makes the pain go away for a while but then it returns in full force. Any ideas?
