Does this qualify as a supervised diet?

In order to be approved by my insurance, there are a few stipulations. I understand all of them, and believe I qualify, however one is a little "iffy". My insurance states: Failure of non-surgical treatment within the past 12 months that includes the following: Medically supervised dietary regimen attempted for a least 6 months and lifestyle management and support.
I had a baby in March of this year. For my entire pregnancy I had physician visits and he monitored my diet (I actually lost weight in the beginning and leveled off to losing nothing in the end). My first pregnancy I gained 60 lbs. This [regnancy, because of diet, I gained nothing.
By me seeing this physician "count" as what my insurance says I had to have done? By the way, my insurance is Health Partners.
