We offer a variety of chat services throughout the site. If you find that this one does not meet your support needs, we recommend checking out our other options. Other areas of interest might be your state forum chat room, surgery type forum chat room, or your favorite OH forum that you visit regularly. Additionally, we have OH Groups with chat rooms and RSVP tools to schedule chat nights. You also have the opportunity to start your own group, with your own chat room! Our newest addition in instant communication is Meebo. This is an instant messaging bar that you can enable or disable at the bottom of your OH screen. Meebo allows you to instantly talk with your OH friends.

We have provided you with a wide variety of services so that you can find the right place for you to receive and give support. We ask that you do your best to respect the context and intended audience of each communication service we provide. It is your responsibility to ensure that your activity, language and electronic transmissions are appropriate.

If they are violating our terms & agreements, please email us at help@obesityhelp.com to report what has happened. To ignore someone, click once on the name of the person you want to ignore (in the right) and then in the top menu select People, then Ignore. All chat messages and private chat requests from that person will be discarded.

You are responsible and liable for all activities conducted when you use ObesityHelp to communicate with other users of ObesityHelp chat. Under no circumstances will ObesityHelp be responsible for any loss or damage resulting from anyone's reliance on information or other content posted in this chatroom. Please follow our site Terms of Services and read our chat room agreements listed below. Violating the rules listed below may result in being kicked out of ObesityHelp chat rooms, temporarily moderated from ObesityHelp services and/or having your account permanently deactivated.

1. No sexually explicit chatting
   Do not use sexually explicit language in chat. ObesityHelp is open to the public, this includes minors. Anyone violating this rule will be banned from the site.
2. No harassing other users
   Do not harass, abuse or threaten another member. If you disagree with someone, respond to the subject, not the person.
3. No hate speech
   Do not use hate speech. Hate speech is unacceptable, and we reserve the right to take appropriate action against anyone using our service to transmit content intended to victimize, harass, degrade or intimidate an individual or group on the basis of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, race, religion or sexual orientation.
4. No flooding or spamming
   Do not disrupt the chat room with text flooding and spamming. This is not acceptable. Examples of this would be the use of large fonts, repetitive typing, chat clearing, advertising or any other similar activity that disrupts normal conversation flow.
5. No posting of private contact information
   Do not give out personal information, e-mail address, phone numbers and home addresses. If you do so, you do this at your own risk and responsibility.
6. No impersonating or changing your name
   Do not impersonate any person, business or other entity. Additionally re-entering chat by modifying your account name / IP address after being removed by staff is prohibited. Doing so is an attempt to deceive, harass, or otherwise mislead.
