Surgery went smoothly, no complications so far. I came home last night and started my new lifestyle this morning--so far so good! I am still a bit tired and don't like being a slave to the clock as I plan my meals,my drinking and my protein shakes. I'm sure it will all become second nature soon. Thank you everyone for the prayers--I passed them along to my surgeon just before they put me to sleep. I am feeling FINE and so very glad I did this! Ellen

Ellen! Just keep your chin up girl! You will feel so much better when it's all over and you can begin your "New Life". Just remember, you will feel better every day and WALK WALK WALK that pain away!! Trust me.. it is worth it all... Heather

I can't tell you ALL how much I appreciate your warm wishes and prayers. Tomorrow is the big day and I am SOOOO looking forward to it! I know it will be the start of a whole new life. I would also like to wish those of you who are having your surgery soon my heartfelt best wishes and prayers! Ellen
