I know it may seem like forever while you are waiting for insurance approval and surgery but please take comfort in the fact that you have made the decision to make yourself healthy and you are on your way. I waited nine months for my first consultation with my surgeon, 5 weeks for insurance approval and a additonal 5 months before I could schedule surgery for various reasons. I am now 14 days post op and have lost 23 pounds. It really will happen for you just hang in there. I used my time to get my body ready for surgery. I increased my vitamin intake, started swimming, and preparing myself mentally for the process by researching everything about the surgery and what to expect afterwards and it really made the difference for me. I feel very informed and unafraid of the changes that are happening to me. Take care dear one and know that I will pray for the time to pass quickly for you and that you may reach all of your goals.
