WLS Nov 1998, one year later I have lost 177 pounds, my waist has gone from 62" down to 40", my cholesterol number has gone from 488 before surgery to 131 now, before surgery I was an out of control diabetic taking maximum dosages of medication to try to control my blood sugar levels but now I pass the glucose tolerance test and take no diabetic medication: I am cured of diabetes, my hypertension is now control with a single medication, low back and other joint pain is gone, and among many other things I am now more socially accepted by family - friends - and even strangers!
Please visit my web site where you can find lots of information for the pre-op as well as the post-op WLS patient. When you get to my web site scroll down to the "Table of Contents" and just scan over all the topics I have to offer. If you are looking for something that I do not have, just drop me an email and I will try to help you find what you are looking for.
