Jeanie, I just had to let you know how proud I am of you! It is almost your anniversary for your surgery date and you have done so well. Girl, you are such an inspiration. Hi Jeanie, Your going to think I'm totally nuts, but we attended the same seminar. I had my surgery on Feb. 19, one month before you! Let me just say that Dr. Strickland was the best. Couldn't have asked for a better surgeon and the nurses and staff at LMC are the best also. I wish you the best of luck and know that your in my prayers. If you want to keep in touch through e-mail, that would be cool. I do have a profile on this site, so if you want to stop by, feel free. Don't worry, your in excellent hands with Dr. Strickland. Again, Your in my prayers!!! Pretty cool that we were at the same seminar!

Jeanie, I am wishing you a safe, complication free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my Open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having done it several years sooner. I can honestly say, without a doubt, that this is the best thing I have ever done for myself. God bless you as you start your healthy new life.
