Just read Darlenes story. What a fighter! A strong woman with many friends and family who cared and supported her. I understand now the reality of complications due to WLS and also see how online community can become so close-knit in a sad, desperate time. The updates from Lisa were consistant--what a thoughtful daughter to still be able to go on the computer after witnessing her mothers hardships....and still have to raise a family at home. I am sure her mother was very proud of her. She passed away knowing everyone here was supporting her---and Lisa is to thank from that. I send positive energy and thoughts to your family ....I am sorry for your loss. Lindsey Anderson

Lisa... you have my deepest sympathies at the loss of your mom Darlene who was SUCH an inspiration to all of us here at OH.com. I'm only thankful that she's now with the Lord and at peace. God bless you and your family during this time of grief. I pray He comforts you! Amy

I,m so sorry to hear the your Mother passed way way. My heart go,s out to you and your family.May you find comfort knowing you are held close in the thoughts of those who care.
