Dear Marcia~~~~Congratulations on your progress. I am so very happy for you that your recovery is rapid and uneventful. I also want to give you a great big hug for ignoring the scale. When I first had surgery, I was 150# over the limit of my scale so I never weighed in except at MD visits. It was the best thing that could have happened to me. I never concentrated on the numbers, just how I felt. Once I got down low enough to weigh myself at home, I almost drove myself nuts because I was fixating on the scale. The scale is now in a box in the closet and I'll weigh in at the next MD appointment. If all fresh post-ops could get that message, it would be great. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for continued strong resolve and good health. Be well, be happy. Lorraine

Marcia...I called the hospital and you were gone! I am soooo glad your Mom is taking care of you for a bit. I am sure that is comforting. Best of luck to you sweetie...you rock! Joelle

Angel Report here. I just got off the phone with Marcia. She is doing fantastic. She passed her leak test yesterday and is being allowed liquids now. The doctor is talking about letting her go home today or tomorrow! I am so proud of her! Angel Out...Joelle

Grateful Angel stepping in with a report. I just got back from visiting Marcia. She had surgery less than 24 hours ago and she was wide awake smiling and even got up and went for quite a stroll with me! I was so impressed! She looks fantastic and she just could not quit smiling. I am so relieved and happy for her! Leave some congrats if you get a chance! Angel Out, Joelle
