hello all~ Just spoke with Pam and she is doing soooooo much better!!! They took her NG tube out yesterday (she said that was the worst part of having this surgery, plus the first 2 days the pain was pretty BAD) and today she has had a BM. She is now taking in clear liquids and everything seems to be going well. She's up walking, doing those leg lifts and Dr. Lucas said if she continues to do this well, she is coming home tomorrow!! The BEST thing is she is having NO pain at this point. She is so ready to come home. Hugs Pam and I am so happy to welcome you to the "other side"....the LOSER'S CLUB! Angel Out~

Hi Pam, I'm very new to the WLS e-mail group. I'm very interested in the surgery for myself, and already feel like I know the people who's e-mails I've been reading. I hope you're beginning to feel better, or at least when you push the pain med button (for now). I hope I get to meet you in person some day soon to hear how you're doing! My prayers are with you! Mary Beth
