Well, I am home, and doing fairly well, for the most part. There was like 0 rest in the hospital, but the staff at Swedish Ballard was wonderful, and never had to wait if I needed assistance. Boy the coughing is rough!! But thank gosh for pillows!! I am doing allright--had a bad headache on Wednesday, and has carried on through today, but I think is on the downward spiral. I can feel the twinge, but it isnt anything that I can't handle. I wanted to say "THANK YOU" for all of the well wishes, thoughts and prayers that you sent my way. I am surely hoping that it gets easier, not that I am really having a hard time now.... :)

I'm a little late to wish you good luck on the surgery. But, I wanted to say that I hope your recovery is going well and you'll be home soon. I look forward to hearing all about your life on the other side.

Hi Tonia! Congrats on having your surgery! I bet you feel relieved now. It's over and now you are on the other side and can join the ranks of the losers. Welcome, my friend!!! Happy RE-Birthday to you! From this day forward you life will change forever. Just try to take it easy and remember to sip, walk, deep breathe and cough. These first few days are rough, but I assure you they get better with each passing day. I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you today and that you are in my thoughts and prayers for an uncomplicated, swift recovery. You are an official loser!! Wishing you much success in your weight-loss journey. Soft hugs to you today. God bless, DI from NJ - Lap RNY, 12/09/03 -53 lbs

Best of luck with your surgery. I will have ya in my prayers for a painfree and speedy recovery. ****Loving Father, I entrust my AMOS friend to your care this day; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, I may be restored to soundness of health and learn to live in more perfect harmony with you and with those around them. Through Jesus Christ. Amen.*** ~~T
