Hi, Everybody, it's me... I had no idea all these comments could be posted directly to my profile like this.... I only thought we communicated by e-mail... I'm sorry I didn't respond to all of you sooner, I'm not even sure how to do it... but if anybody sees this who wrote all these kind things to me, I want to say a belated THANK YOU!!!! I'm doing OK, by the way, down to 228... I will see the plastic surgeon on March 6th for a preliminary evaluation... although I don't expect to have anything of that sort done before summertime, if then.... I hope you are all well... PEACE, and THANK YOU again!!!!!

Hi Robert, Read your profile and just wanted you to know I agreed and related to a lot you said. As I read I found myself saying "that's right; hell yeah; and Damn does this guy work a 12 step program?" I'm in the early stages of the WLS process. I just had my first consoltation visit postponed frm Feb. 25 to sometime in March. I have even quit smoking after 32 years to prepare for the surgery. I do work a 12 step program in other areas of my life which has been a great benefit to me. Actually it's saved my life! But the food thing is a different story. Anyways, just wanted to thank you for your advise, words of wisdom, and pardon the pun...food for thought! God Bless, Jill

Hi Bob! I was very impressed with your comments and ideas! It made three months since my surgery Jan.2,2003! Praise the lord from whom all good things come! I have lost a total of 74pounds and look so much better! My face has become so much rosier and smaller! People who do not know I've had the surgery ask me if I lost a great deal of weight, I just love it!! They are all so happy for me! I'm happy for the first time in my life I am saying goodby to these pounds forever! My surgeon, his name is Kenneth Bouchard, I call him my maricale surgeon, cause God brought him into my life for a reason! My weight loss tool is now in place, and I am going to use it to the hilt!! Praises to the Lord, Always!! Oh, I almost forgot to tell you the driving force which sent me seeking this WLS was my diabeties insulin dependence! I was on 50 units, 2xday! Since discharge from the hospital none insulin dependent!!Thank the Lord,I could not succede without him!I am very proud of your weight loss, you have indeed come a long way! Keep up the fight, you are winning! I hope you write me back, I love hearing from others! God Bless You, Robert Singleton! Your new friend in the great circle of life!
