I made it home.. I'm tired and sore, which is to be expected. So I'll post more later when I feel better. Just wanted to let everyone know I made it safely through to the other side. Shelley Samuel

Ijust talked with Michelle and her surgery had been delayed just a bit yesterday (they were waiting for a bed to open up), but she's officially on the other side!!! They just removed her ng tube, and she's suffering from a swollen ulva so she's having trouble talking and breathing. She's really tired but is expecting to go home on Sunday or Monday. Keep her in your prayers!

I spoke to Michelle the other day and volunteered to be her Angel! I also had surgery at Fort Gordon and am just over a year out... She's very excited, nervous, etc, just as we all were/are! If I get in touch with her, I'll let you know!

Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing. Make sure you walk, and keep up your breathing exercise. YOU CAN DO THIS! See you on the other side. PS. If you check out my web page, be sure to sign the guest book there. Thanks.

Oh my Gosh just 1 and a half more days. I never would of thought I could be this excited and this nervous at the same time. My husband managed to get his ship out date changed to the 18th so it gives a couple more days. I really don't know how well I'll handle his being in Korea for 13 months, but I guess the Army doesn't leave much choice. I'll just have to leave it all in God's hands. He never gives us more than he knows we can handle. Tomorrow is the nasty phosho-soda day, and I know many of you can relate to how much fun I get to have tomorrow. Maybe I'll get to get on-line tomorrow evening. Thank you everyone for you're wonderfull words of encouragement.
