 Well today is one more day closer to my new life its oct 16 2002 and im just about finished with all pre stuff tommorow i have my gall bladder and liver ultrasound then next week the 23 i have my psycological eval than thats it oh except the hospital pre admin tests ughhhhhhh than thats it soon i will wake up and i wont have to remeber what test or appointment is due today except to walk breathe walk and take vitamins for life and drink my water thats not to much to ask now is it  well today is oct 28 I went this am to my pre surgery testing at holmes reginal this am Thank god im done all that is left is the coctail on sunday and surgery on monday wow how time flies I have to thank my wife Wendy without her i would be lost thank you and I love you with all my heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  another update its 5 days to go im a little nervous but calm this liver reduction diet isint to bad but i still miss my carbs oh well ill get used to it  nov 1 2002 okay wow only 3 more days to go ok ok now im getting pretty nervous and aprihensive but i wil do fine god is with me i think i got everything i need togather and got all testing and etc done liver diet id going ok for once i havent cheated at all go me!! i am so looking forward to becoming a loser i just want to get this over and EXERSIZE  Well im home surgery went without a hitch im feeling wonderfull and not to much pain to be honest i feel so much better then i would have ever expected to think im 5 days post op and sitting here typing this oh well i just feel great thanks to all who supported me my wife wendy and my angel Tina also met a few wonderfull people in the hospital well enough for now frankenstein out lol incesion funny looking wow its a week out nov 11 2002 I feel great no problems at all i am walking alot getting in all my fluids etc no problems with nausea or anything a little head hunger though ill get over it i can do this i would still do this again in a heartbeat!! well im off to my morning walk once again thanks to everyone who has helped me in my journey. wow i cant belive its nov 22 already well im down 29 ibs i feel ok i having some trouble with the protein hard to get down and i seem to have lost alot of my energy god i hope this will pass head hunger is another big issue with me now but i will be able to eat lobster on thanksgiving so thats something to look forward to would i still do this well i dont know at this point we will see what happens soon i hope Jan 16 2003 wow its been awile since I updated im now down 73 lbs and feel great incision is all healed up and i am able to return to work i have finally found a protein i can stand its real meals tastes good i am walking as much as i can and it seems to help i have all my energy back and then some i have no more back pain and no leg pains i can sit and get up with no problems i have lost about 4 clothes sizes im just so happy this has been the best thing i could have ever done for myself Thanks to all who have helped me and continue to help me i can only hope that i can help outhers as i have been helped March 12 2003 just a little update here im doing wonderfull no problems to date i have lost 96 lbs and feel wonderfull so much energy and i am doing fine on protein etc but for the first time in my life im loosing not only pounds but hair but who cares it will come back i have had no major food issues and stay pretty much in high ketosis which is good for me i just cant get over the compliments im getting now people are starting to notice me and talk to me its becoming so much easier to do physicall stuff and im doing things then noticing after the fact and saying did i just do that anyhow until next time take care I want to take a minute to thank Sharon for sprucing up my profile also I feel reallly good but im kinda nervous my fast weight loss has slowed down I hope I am not eating too much I am getting in my protein first and havent had many carbs at all oh well maybe it is just me March 30 Just wanted to let everyone know that I feel great. My wife had her surgery March 25 and she is doing wonderfull. I am now at a loss of 109lbs since nov 4 food is not an issue with me anymore and I am getting my exercize in with no problems I feel so wonderfull and full of energy I acctually enjoyed mowing the grass this morning it felt good and I did it by hand no more riding mower to be lazy!!!!!!! Well here it is 6 months wow cant believe how time flies. I made it to the century club Im at a loss of 135 lbs can you believe it!! the date is may14 2003 I feel wonderfull go me!!!! Hospital Reviews Surgeon Info: Surgeon: F. Edward Tenewitz, M.D. I had my first consult with Dr T he was very informative and concerened about his patients well being not just another $5000.00 I was very impressed with his staff they were wonderfull to me and very helpfull i would recomend anyone to them there is a wonderfull program that is very helpfull also seems that surgery is the smallest part of the whole procedure the beggining of a new life they have extensive Retrainining involved of what to eat etc Insurer Info: aetna hmo |
