Hello AMOS family! Thank you for all the well wishes before my surgery last Wed. and making me feel calm!! Well, my surgery is over and done with and I am back home already! Believe it or not, I was not even the first bit nervous as I got ready for my surgery. I was so calm and felt so good so maybe that's why my surgery went off with no complications and because I was doing so well, didn't even have to stay in the ICU. I went straight up to a regular room. I flew through everything with no problems and was sent home 3 1/2 days later on Saturday evening. Thanks to everyone who prayed for me. I am so glad to be on the "other side" and now am ready to see this weight come off and get healthier. As of this morning, I've lost 18 pounds! I also started walking on my treadmill yesterday and have already walked on it today too. God bless you all! Have faith and stay positive. I had many roadblocks to get to where I am today but look at me now...don't give up--it will happen!!!! Love ya, Kris

These are Kris' words from an email I got from her this morning...... Hi everyone, Just a quick note to let you all know that I am home now and doing very well! My surgery went off without a hitch. I did so well that my surgeon didn't even make me go into ICU and they put me right up into a regular room right after I left the recovery. WOOHOO I zipped through all my tests and did so well with everything that they released me Saturday afternoon. Going to the hospital was certainly an experience. It certainly was not bad but one I don't care to revisit soon. I know alot of people frown upon Wishard but I was blessed. They had just opened a new wing in the hospital just a day before that was totally brand new (everything brand new and really really clean) and that is where I went!! I even had pretty decent nurses and aides...what more could I have asked for. I truly was blessed! God and all of you were certainly watching over me. I couldn't have done it without the love and support and prayers from all of you. Thank you again so much! I am back at home now and getting around really well. My tummy/incision is still painful and my back is sore for some reason but really past that, I am doing great! I will update more later.... Love~Kris
