I spoke with Kelly this evening and she sounds so wonderful! She is strong and feeling good. The surgery went a little longer than she expected but she is no worse for the wear, she is such a TROOPER!!!! She is doing all the things she is told, (such a good patient-nurses LOVE that!) She is hoping to go to Dr Snyder's lecture at the hospital tomorrow evening, hopefully she will walk down all the halls on her own power! I am so very proud of her! I get to visit with her tomorrow and I just can't wait!!! Keep up the good attitude and speedy recovery!! Hugs, just me.

It is 10:30 pm and I could not talk to her, but the nurse said that Colleen is the IDEAL patient. She got to her room very late this afternoon but has been standing by her bed already and is doing great!!!!!! I will update tomorrow as I hope to see her early evening. Way to go !! Welcome to the land of Oz...where your dreams do come true!!!!!

With all the surgeries every day, I almost missed someone with my surgeon, how embarrasing. Colleen I couldn't be happier for you. Everyone loves Dr S. so I know you're in good hands. Your surgery is probably over now, but I will think of you and send you healing thoughts. I hope you can email me when you get out and tell me all the good news. Hopefully I'll meet you at a future lecture.
