3:00 PM CST Tracey is improving and should be released from the hospital today if she hasn't been already. :)

2:30 pm - Tracey will probably be staying in the hospital tonight..she is having headaches and nausea. I was told she was able to get up and walk to the bathroom a couple of times, and her leak test came back fine, but I wasn't able to talk directly to her..she was asleep when I called. Continue to keep her in your prayers..

Well, after a late start due to weather delays, Tracey had her surgery about 10:30 this morning (Jan 23). She came through fine, but because of some previous C-sections and other minor complications, the surgery took longer than expected, about 3 1/2 hours. Then she had to wait for an available room, so she didn't get to her room until after 5PM. She was fine but very groggy and ready to sleep. Overall, everything went well. Tracey had lots of support..her husband, a friend, myself, and two other WLS friends from our local support group were there. Keep Tracey in your prayers that things continue to go smoothly in her recovery time. I will post more info as I get it.

I wish you the very best on the surgery, and I will pray for you so it will be free of any complications. I go in tomorrow, and I am a nervous wreck. It seems the closer it gets, the more we have second thoughts. Just hang in there, soon it will be over, and we will regain our health and our lives back. I will keep all of our WLS sisters and brothers in my prayers.
