was sitting in my dr.s off and kept seeing commercials. and thought let me call the insurance co.

What was your first visit with your surgeon like? How can people get the most out of this meeting?

The initial meeting was wonderful. They was caring and warm. Just be yourself and everything will just flow.

What made you finally decide to have the surgery?

My Best friend Sandy was as excited as i was.. so we said lets do it ......hahha

How did you decide which proceedure to have?

Didnt want to have to go back for adjustments..For the Lap-Band

What fears did you have about having complications or even dying from from the surgery, and what would you tell other people having the same fears now?

OFF LIMITS SUGAR, BREAD PASTA CANDY.... IF IT LOOKS GOOD TASTES GOOD SPIT IT OUT... LOL

ALITTLE TIRING AT FIRST BUT PICKED UP AFTER I STARTED TAKING MY VITAMINS

What vitamins and/or dietary supplements have you taken since your surgery?

VITAMINS 3XS A DAY CALCIUM 2XS AND A IRON.... B12 INJ 1X A MONTH

What side effects (nausea, vomiting, sleep disturbace, dumping, hair loss etc.) were worse for you? For how long after surgery did they persist? How did you cope with them?

NAUSEA AND VOMINTING OCCASSIONALLY FOR 3MOS

What was the worst part about the entire bariatric surgery process?

NOTHING REALLY MINE WENT VERY WELL

What aftercare support group/program do you have? How helpful/important is this?
