Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

I had already gone thru other options before turning to gastric bypass surgery. I went to a dietician, exercise therapist, had a trainer, even took off some time at work to focus on losing weight, and all that happened was that I gained more knowledge of how to be healthy and I actually gained 6 pounds. That's when I gave up and decided to go have surgery. Which I just had surgery on Sept 25, 2012'

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

Hard to do daily activities! All I wanted to do was lay down because I had no energy to move or even go to my job.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

I would say, I enjoy the feeling of being full early!
