Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

I think the hardest thing I struggled with is that I used to be skinny and pretty. Now I am just fat and ugly. I had the surgery on 2/27. I am struggling with this whole liquid diet and I am not sure I can do it. Especially now that I am home and having to cook or even smell the food being cooked for my husband and 2 children. I am trying to be strong, I know that results are bound to start showing soon, at least I hope.

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

Being told by my doctor that I wont be around for my girls graduation if I didn't get my sugar and weight under control. Not being able to do the things that I used to.

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

I am still in the beginning stages.
