    Welcome to Advocare Associates in General Surgery For more than 30 years, Advocare Associates in General Surgery has provided the finest in surgical care to the residents of southern New Jersey. Our team of highly-trained surgeons performs both traditional and minimally-invasive (laparoscopic) procedures in several specialty areas. Our goal is to provide personalized, high-quality care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Patients referred to our practice on an emergency basis are evaluated by a surgeon within 24 hours - often on the same day. We pride ourselves on being communicative and collaborative with both our patients and their referring doctors. Your satisfaction is our highest goal! With three office locations in South Jersey - Cherry Hill, Sewell, and Stratford- we can ensure that both new and established patients are seen in a timely manner at a convenient location.

    Doctor Balsama is great. I have had no issues since being released from the hospital. However, I did have severely low blood pressure and he and his team ran every test under the sun to make sure I would be ok.
