    The first step to learn more and get started with the Bariatric Surgery program at Olathe Medical Center is to attend one of our free informational seminars. At this free seminar, Harlan L. Opie, MD, bariatric surgeon at Olathe Medical Center, will discuss the qualifications for surgery, treatment options and nutritional guidelines after surgery. There will be ample time for your questions. Dr. Opie is experienced in all three weight-loss surgery procedures - the gastric bypass, gastric banding and gastric sleeve. He is Board Certified in General Surgery. We also do Revisions

    He is a great, compassionate man. My original surgery (BPD with DS) was by Timothy Sifers. Have had multiple severe complications, and no one in this area will even see me as a patient. Dr Opie has operated 3 times..saving my life. There is More...
