Dr. Debarros is very nice and helpful. He answered all my questions about the surgery and I cant wait to get it!!!

I have not experience so much with this dr but my mother did she did the lap band, and is very happy with her life . these surgeries are not just about losing weight its about changing your whole life. eating habits exercise habits loving yourself . glad me and her went on with the surgeries we did.

I was 234 pounds and struggling with a very serious food addiction that no matter what was going on food was my escape. When it came to the fact of just walking up stairs was exhausting and I wanted to be a mother who could run around with my kid. I said enough was enough. After the surgery I got down to 102 pounds WAY TO LOW!!! Once I lost the weight I needed to be at I was so excited but then my weight kept dropping. I had my band to tight. However I didn't have the money to go in to get it unfilled. I had been starving myself for years because of money. I got to the point where I was feeling worst physically at 102 then I did when I was 234 pounds. I finally got the money and went in to talk to the doctors. The look on their faces said it all. What I had done could have been very deadly. They showed me a way to make arrangements to be able to get my band to the point where it needed to be and saved my life. I am back to the weight I need to be and am planning on getting it refilled to maintain. WLIA doctors aren't normal doctors that want just money, they are supportive and are like family who care. I am here today because of them.

I had gastric sleeve surgery about 4 months ago. My surgeon was Dr. DeBarros. Dr. DeBarros is very skilled, and I have complete confidence in him and all of the staff. I felt completely informed and prepared for surgery, recovery, and for the lifetime adjustments. My initial consultation was very helpful, and I knew exactly what to expect in all aspects. I have had great success and have lost 47 pounds so far. I feel like all of the staff members really care about me and are excited about my progress. I really like the staff, I am getting ready to have my lapband procedure within the next couple of months. The staff is very professional, as well as very friendly. They are always there to answer all questions you may have as well, there is no pressure for this procedure also. They explain the different types of procedures the how they each work and the benefits of each. I do recommend Dr. DeBarros and his staff for this procedure.

I had the lap band procedure done by Dr DeBarros in 2011. I had fantastic results. I went from a size 18 to a size 9, The surgery went very well n Dr DeBarros made me feel very comfortable on my 1st time surgery ever. My recovery was pretty fast. I have not regretted making this decision one bit! The staff is very friendly and helpful answering any questions you might have. I would definitely recommended WLIA for your surgery
