Dr. Pirrello is awesome. I have never had a surgeon help me out of bed, not once but at lease twice. My entire experience with Dr. Pirrello was great. He is very strict, but only because he truly wants the best for his patients. He takes his time and sits and talks to you concerning your experience. You can ask any question, and he always takes time and explains in detail what is going on or why you are required to do this. If you are looking for a surgeon in the Charlotte, NC or surrounding area please, please choose Dr. Pirrello.

I love Dr. Pirrello! He is an amazing doctor/surgeon and actually takes time to listen to you and your concerns. Some of my friends are nurses at the hopsital where he has his practice. They all think Dr. Pirello is a wonderful surgeon. I like that he is very honest and doesn't hold back on telling you what you NEED to hear. I really think I got blessed when I was referred to him. Dr. Pirello really takes time to make sure you are aware of all the risks with your particular surgery. I feel very educated and ready for my surgery.

Dr. Pirrello's staff is also very nice and easy to work with. I would recommend Dr. Pirello to everybody that I know. He has his heart in the right place when servicing his patients.

Dr. Pirrello is a sincere and caring doctor. I have been experiencing pain for over two years and switched doctors to Dr. Pirrello. He listened and has changed my life. I trust his decisions and that this surgery will change my life forever. I will be indebted to him. I have never had a relationship with a Doctor who cared as much as Dr. Pirrello. I would rate him excellent and would refer anyone considering bariatric surgery to him.

I had the Gastric bypass surgey on Dec 22 2009 and everything has gone great so far. I had a good feeling about Dr Pirrello when I went to his seminar and it has continuted thru the whole process.

very professional and informative,he became more friendly and caring as i went for visits . he has the wonderful staff they go above and beyond to assist you in any way.he insist on aftercare in order for this to work.he was friendly with my family and answered all question asked . ihave thought of doing this for years and once talking to him i was sure it waS RIGHT FOR ME.Ithink it was aperfect match and i was lucky to have him as my surgeon.

July 2, 2009 - Went for my two year with Dr. P and got to see him at his new digs. The staff at his office is even better than when he was in Concord!!!!! I am so happy he set up his own practice, as I was not at all happy with the \"nutrition\" staff that shared the office with Carolinas Weight Loss Surgery in Concord. I recommend everyone to Dr. Pirrello and his new practice. You will not be disappointed. They are professionals who see their role as being advisors to you as you make decisions for your health.rnrnrnHad my first consult with Dr. Pirrello Mon, Jan 22. He has a great subtle wit, and spent a TON of time with us (hubby and I). Thrilled with dr and all the staff. Every single staff member was so pleasant and made you feel like a valued person. Loved the fact that as of my consult visit, they have had no deaths and very few complications. The video we watched was long, but very informative. The room was a little warm and since the lights were muted (for the video) it got a little drowsy. Nothing that being prepared won't fix, tho. They took a photo (a before shot) and I wish I had known that was going to happen so that I could make an informed choice on my dress. (Lucky for me I was dressed nicely, tho!) All in all, this seems like a perfect fit for me! rnrn5/28/07 - I have now had two surgeries in one week by Dr. P (lap RNY wih Fobi band AND emergency hernia) and can say that I can't think of a soul I'd rather have operate on me. He is both professional and compassionate. DH found out that Dr. P not only does the bariatric surgery, but is on trauma surgery staff for the hospital, too, because he loves it. You have to admire a doc like that! I recommend Dr. P to anyone!

My first impression of Dr. Pirrello is that he was extremely patient in answering all of my questions, providing me with detailed information. I am still in the process of getting insurance approval for my surgery but the staff and Dr. Pirrello have returned all of my calls and so far, I feel very good about choosing them to help me through this life-changing process.

First impression was man he looks young. But was very knowledgable and personable. Over time the impression has remained very good. He is very patient oriented. The staff in the office are awesome, always making you feel comfortable. I don't think there was anything inparticular that i did not like about him. Future patients should know that he is seriouse about what he does and that it should never be taken lightly as a quick fix. After care is a huge part of the proccess and they make sure you know the schedualing befor you even have surgery. Overall I would rate Dr Pirrello very high as his standards are high in all aspects of your treatment. To me more important than anything is surgical competence, but bedside manner is a major plus!

I meet with Dr. Pirrello on June 2nd. Him and staff was so great. I had my EGD on August 15th. He was so sweet. Telling me how great I did. Asking me was I almost done with all my paperwork. He is so great. The staff is so nice. I've sent them 100's of emails and they never act like I'm bothering them. They just tell me to be patient. It's a awesome team. I'm waiting on my insurance approval to come back. 08/15/2008

Very nice guy. Very informative. Doesnt play when it come to you losing the required weight before surgery. The staff is really nice.
