Michelle O'Meara Bariatric Surgeon D.O.

Michelle O’Meara, D.O., practices Bariatrics (medical and surgical weight loss) and has been a healtcare professional in the Tulsa area since 1990. Prior to joining Bailey Bariatrics, she cared for patients at St. John Clinic in Broken Arrow for two years and Warren Clinic for eight years. She also has 12 years experience as a registered dietician & nutritionist. Dr. O’Meara earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition at the University of Oklahoma (OU) in Norman in 1980. She completed her Master of Science Degree in Health Promotion & Disease Prevention at OU in 1988. She received her medical degree from the Oklahoma State University School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003. She completed her residency in 2006.   Dr. O’Meara is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association.   Dr. O’Meara’s personal interests include gourmet cooking, bicycling, walking her dogs, yoga, working out, gardening and supporting the arts & sporting events.
