About Me
David Avram Wolfe received his master's degree in clinical nutrition from The Ohio State University as well as an associate degree in culinary arts with a concentration in artisan bread and a bachelor's degree in culinary nutrition from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. He has worked under international acclaimed chef/cook book author Marcus Samuelsson, and trained under published author and artisan bread baker Richard Miscovich. Wolfe also wrote the forward to Unraveling the Umami Taste, an e-book by Yair Zuk. He first gained an interest in weight loss during his work with food addicts in relapse and recovery in private practice and during his internship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Ohio. Prior to working at Steward Medical Group, he was a critical care dietitian in the ICU at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Wolfe has a passion for food and helping others through motivation, empowerment and support.
