Ashley Salazar Physician Assistant (PA) PA-C

Ashley Salazar has been assisting Dr. Peter LePort and our other LAP-BAND® or Realize System and gastric bypass surgeons since 2002 as a member of the Smart DIMENSIONS™ bariatric team. Prior to her work in bariatrics, Ashley’s broad training included family practice, cardiothoracic surgery, emergency medicine, and obstetrics and gynecology. Ashley earned her Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies at Western University of Health Sciences. While at Western, she was on the Dean’s List for two years and was nominated to the 2000–2001 National Dean’s List. In addition, Ashley was featured in the 2001 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Ashley is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the California Association of Physician Assistants.
