Mastering Mindset - Navigating Life's Challenges & Thriving Amidst Stress

Life challenges don’t announce themselves, they just show up, whether you are ready or not. Unfortunately, many are not.

In this presentation, you’ll get tips and techniques on healthy ways to start coping more effectively with stressors and life challenges right now. You’ll learn how to put practices in place that fit YOUR lifestyle and start to question what you think about yourself, your journey, how you think about food, your relationship with food, your relationship with yourself, your lifestyle, and how you practice self-care.

It’s said that self-awareness is the mother of change. However, when people are stressed out, overwhelmed, grieving or lost, they aren’t looking inward, but often looking to numb the pain, escape discomfort, or fill the void. Life after bariatric surgery requires new coping, even when life gets tough. From a mindset perspective, lifestyle change is critical for substantive weight loss and maintenance, even when dealing with other factors.
