Kelli! Congrats. I will be a year on the 30th. You are a wonderful person and you are very inspirational. I saw your web site and I am in complete awe. I take care of my 67 year old mom. She lives with me. I am very glad for your weight loss. Happy Re-Birthday!

I am still fighting with my insurance company over paying my surgeon and anethesia bills (be a year next week) AND IT WAS ALL PRE-APPROVED I am probably going to have to pay waaaaaaaaaay more out of pocket than they told me. SO in the meantime since I am figuring the TT is out of the question, I have been looking for something to hold it all in. FOUND IT! Spanx.com These things BREATHE!
Topic: 1 YR FOR ME TODAY!!!!!!!
Well I did post that I had my 1 yr check up the other day but today is actually my 1 yr date. I dont have much to share exspect that I am incredibly blessed to be able to have a second chance at being healthy and not overweight. I am by BMI standards still over weight, I am 157 as of today and 5'5'' so I need another 7 lbs for them to be satisfied but you know what, I am satisfied not to be 272, and to have lost 115 so far. I want to thank everyone who has been supportive but first and formost my Lord !!!!!!
Best wishes to everyone coming up on their yr, Its something to be so very proud of and lets keep the weight off !!!!!!!
I posted a couple days ago about a hernia that my surgeon discovred and I was wondering still if anyone here has had a hernia and tummy tuck done and paid for by their insurance

Topic: One year....WOW
As we all are celebrating our one year anniversaries, I first want to congratulate everyone on all of their successes. Getting this surgery to change and improve our lives wasnt an easy decision, and yet we all did it. I know that like many other I am truely grateful and thankful for making the choice that I have made. I celebrated my one year anniversary on the 20th, and WOW. I am so amazed as I reflect back upon the year.
I have went from 295 pounds to 160, went from a size 24/26 in womens to currently a size 9/10 in juniors. I have had a tummy tuck to remove 6 pounds of skin from my tummy and I feel and look fantastic!
Thank you all for allowing me to share my journey with so many of you!
Keep up all of the hard work!

Gina-
You've done great
keep up the good work. You'll get there! I was at 126/127 for about 5 weeks and I wanted so badly to loose just 2 pounds, then last week on Friday (1-21-05, my one year anniversary) I weighed in at 124!
Two days before I weighed 127! It'll come off and remember the slower the better in the long run.
Keep your chin up and a smile on your face!
Best of luck
on your continued WLS journey!
