Topic: Hi, two weeks since hernia repair
Hi, it was two weeks ago today I had my incisional hernia repaired. Beware of pain pills, they can cause you to become impacted. That was one of the most painful experiences of my life. But I am back at work and feeling pretty good. I lost ten more pounds since the hernia repair. Now I weigh 154!! I started at 270. My size 12's are a little large, I've started buying size 10! I hope everyone else is doing well.

Topic: HORRIFIC Plateau
Hey gang... I just need some support (and testamonials) from my Jan Jumpers that this multiple months long plateau is not the end of my journey. The first two months I chalked it up to a new job, traveling, another bout of bipolar disruption, etc. But it has been almost 12 weeks since my new job and I am settled in my hotel and travel routine. I am very picky about the foods I eat and stick to the protein and water (most of the time) requirements. I almost always follow up with fresh fruits and veggies. I do eat a few complex carbs (veggies, whole grain breads) and never eat sweets or desserts. I am getting the extra milk and calcium recommended lately, I am exercising (not quite religiously, but moving a lot more). I feel like I'm doing everything that I am supposed to. Anyone out there on this long of a plateau yet? Please tell me that I am not alone and lazy! Thanks for all your support - you guys are the greatest! Barbie 281/196 (FOREVER!)/170ish

Woo Hoo Sherry! I know that I waited for what seems like forever to get there - but since then - I have stalled for months. That is a great goal to achieve - especially if you haven't been there in awhile! Congrats! Barbie 281/196/170ish
