Hi everybody!! Sorry I have been MIA for awhile, but my computer is sooo slow, it justs irritates me to get on!! But when I do get a chance I check in on all ya'll!! Have any of you hit the LONGGG..... plateau(spelling) yet? I realize I am one of the "slow losers" and I am grateful that I have lost 50 lbs, but since my last f/u on 4/10 I haven't lost a pound, I haven't gained either though thank goodness!! My doc says I am right on track, but going to the gym as much as I do is going to slow the weight part down b/c of building muscle, but 1 month!! The last week I have been doing more cardio and less weights, maybe that will get the ball rolling!! When will the drama ever stop!! Cindy

I had my surgery right before you and I just got through a month long plateau. I think it's normal. Frustrating for sure but normal. Just keep doing what you're doing and it will eventually work out. Joan

Welcome back....earlier this week we all were moaning about plateaus and then the intense onset of aunt flo....with hopes that next week will bring us results. It sounds like you're doing great, congrats on all the exercise, that's still a weak area for me. Tiffany

At our support group meeting last month we talked about plateaus and the frustration. Our leader, who is a nurse practitioner and former bypass patient herself, said that our bodies 'adjust' about every 3 months or so for 12 -18 months. I found that helpful and keep telling myself that...over and over, lol. I too have had a SLOW month losing. I'm grateful for what I've lost so far, but it's sooooo frustrating! Hugs to all
