Vegas Update, going to Europe, Happy MD

Happy Mothers Day to everyone!! I hope ya'll have a great day planned both with your mothers and your children. VEGAS, BABY!! I have sent out requests to hotels for group rates in Vegas (baby!!!). The process is underway. During my upcoming travels I'll see colleagues from many of the dot coms, too, and have asked them about blocks of rooms. I expect to have it sorted out around 1 June or sooner and will post as I have options and group decisions. DONT WORRY - under no cir****tances is this trip going to be cancelled or not come to be. To help solidify the trip I am exploring a lower price for advance payment. If you travel these days you know that advance payment equals lower price. This MIGHT be an OPTION so I share it with you so you can think thru cash flow and such. If you have gaming clubs like Amber was talking about check out your options. This is currently just an idea to help keep costs down........ As previously mentioned, I am focusing on the weekend of 26 January but asking about the weekend of 19 January, just in case there's a killer deal we need to consider. ME..... I may not post too much in the coming month. Tonite I am leaving on one of two trips across the big pond. I am going to London for 4 days then to Frankfurt for 5. I come home for almost a week and then back to London for a week. I am always in touch with my email so know I am 'there' with you, probably more in lurker mode than posting mode. But I have not gone away!!!! On 21-23 May I need your good thoughts and spirits. Those dates are the convention for the trade assn I became president of in February and I have to lead the conference and give two 30 minute speeches. We have over 300 ppl coming, mostly European. I am excited but a bit nervous, too. I've done a lot of public speaking but this time I am....president. Yikes. Fortunately my smallest power suits fit perfectly!!! So while I dont yet have any clue about what I am going to say I do have my wardrobe organized and I will look hot! Professionally so, that is!!
