05/16 Roll Call

I've never done a roll call before, so I thought I'd hop in and do one while I had time at work today. 1. What is one store you cannot wait to shop in? 2. Do you have a set budget for the clothing you now need? 3. Who has been your biggest supporter through your WLS journey? 4. Who has been your biggest naysayer through your WLS journey? 5. Just for fun, what are your top 5 favorite movies? ======================================================= 1. Victoria Secrets! I told my husband -- give me a catalog and a charge card for Christmas! LOL 2. No -- not a set budget, but I do try to pick up at least one outfit a week on clearance in my many trips to Target/Walmart/Kohls. I usually spend about $20 per outfit. I can't see buying expensive clothing right now -- especially when we won't be in them long! 3. My husband and my mother have been my biggest supporters. 4. My friend Lena -- she was supportive of me having the surgery at the time of surgery, but she now resents the fact that I've lost weight. I've only seen her 3 times since surgery and she lives 10 mins from my house. 5. My top 5 favorite movies are: 1. The Notebook 2. The Other Sister 3. Forrest Gump 4. Sweet Home Alabama 5. Save the Last Dance!

1. What is one store you cannot wait to shop in? I also cannot wait to buy one of those new bras from Victorias Secret. I've never shopped in that place for anything besides Love Spell lotion lol 2. Do you have a set budget for the clothing you now need? No, I pretty much have clothes in my closet from size 16-24, I'm in the 20's now so I still have 18's and 16's to go then I'll worry about clothes. 3. Who has been your biggest supporter through your WLS journey? My fiancee has been very supportive but my friends at my office have been the biggest supporters. 4. Who has been your biggest naysayer through your WLS journey? No one really 5. Just for fun, what are your top 5 favorite movies? Titanic Heathers Point Break Bring It On Buffy the Vampire Slayer

1. What is one store you cannot wait to shop in? Any store that I can fit into anything 14w and under, I'll be happy!!!! No more plus sizes, but I would have to say probably Victoria Secret as well for my special someone. 2. Do you have a set budget for the clothing you now need? Not right now, but I am starting a new job here shortly and hope to save to get new clothes. I saved most of my smaller sizes that I had previously due to a diet...so that will save me some dough till I get into sizes 18w and smaller. 3. Who has been your biggest supporter through your WLS journey? My friend Mena, she had the RNY and she's kept me focused. 4. Who has been your biggest naysayer through your WLS journey? No One...Thankfully! 5. Just for fun, what are your top 5 favorite movies? 1. Erin Brockovich 2. Captain Ron 3. Return to Me 4. Guess Who's Coming for Dinner (Original with Spencer Tracy/Kathern Hepburn) 5. Star Wars Trilogy (no-prequels)

1. What is one store you cannot wait to shop in? ANY store that does not cater to "plus" sizes 2. Do you have a set budget for the clothing you now need? No! I am not buying anything. Unfortunately, my clothes not "falling off me" so I am okay for a while, I think. 3. Who has been your biggest supporter through your WLS journey? My husband. 4. Who has been your biggest naysayer through your WLS journey? My sister. She was never really supportive and she is a jealous person...which kills me because she is beautiful and has nothing to be jealous of. 5. Just for fun, what are your top 5 favorite movies? Labyrinth Good Will Hunting Bridget Jones Diary Sound of Music Clueless I am sure I am missing others that I like more but the first 3 are pretty firm!

1. What is one store you cannot wait to shop in? -- Mine is Victoria's Secret, also. I want to be able to walk in the store without feeling like the biggest woman on the planet. AND actually buy something that fits and looks good. 2. Do you have a set budget for the clothing you now need? Right now my budget is cheap. I can't justify spending good money for clothes that I'll wear 2-3 weeks and then pass on. 3. Who has been your biggest supporter through your WLS journey? My wonderful, amazing husband has been my biggest supporter. He's a great guy and he has taken more interest than I ever thougth he would in my surgery, my weight loss and my long-term health. 4. Who has been your biggest naysayer through your WLS journey? My sister, who is also overweight. She had nothing but horrible things to say beforehand -- along the lines of "Fine, if you want to die and leave your girls in the middle of a custody battle, that's your right." And afterwards, she is still pretty negative. And all along, she'll say she's jealous, that she just doesn't have the courage, money, etc to do this. 5. Just for fun, what are your top 5 favorite movies? I don't really watch a lot of movies or TV, but I can come up with a few. My all-time favorite movie to date is the Notebook. Followed by On Golden Pond.

Morning Susan! 1. What is one store you cannot wait to shop in? *** Victoria's Secret, baby! I've always been ashamed to go in that store with friends, but I can't wait to buy cute little lingerie 2. Do you have a set budget for the clothing you now need? *** No, and I need one- I keep buying out stores on their charge cards!! NOT GOOD! I need to hurry up and get in the 22s so I don't have to spend money on bottoms, thankfully I have a lot in supply from my buddy Mary Fran. 3. Who has been your biggest supporter through your WLS journey? *** I think my parents... 4. Who has been your biggest naysayer through your WLS journey? *** Definately my sister 5. 1. What is one store you cannot wait to shop in? Fredricks of Hollywood 2. Do you have a set budget for the clothing you now need? I have a thin fund that I use but lately I have been buying skirts so I can pin the waist in when they get to big. One of the girls I work with gave me a bunch of tops that have been working for me too! 3. Who has been your biggest supporter through your WLS journey? My mom (she fits both catagories) 4. Who has been your biggest naysayer through your WLS journey? My mom - one word - jealousy. Sometimes the green eyed monster rears it's ugly head. A couple weekends ago she threw a hamburger at me in an argument. She called me "all high and mighty" since I was able to have surgery and dropped all my weight so fast. I know she isn't the only one that wants to throw a hamburger at me either 5. Just for fun, what are your top 5 favorite movies? 1. Supertroopers 2. French Kiss 3. You've Got Mail 4. Throwing a hamburger at you...geesh!!!! I hope you have good reflexes!!! I am so sorry to hear you have that going on, people should be supportive of this decision afterall it didn't come easy and we still have to work at losing the weight. I just dont get it, people sometimes look at me like I've cheated and I am not, I work out at least 2hrs a nigh****ch what I eat while others are enjoying sodas, cakes and stuff...not that I really miss all that sugar but still...yet, I am cheating...whatever!!!
