Two Wow Moments
You know...I LOVE reading everyone's WOW moments but rarely post my own. Hmm...I wonder why...
Anyhow...I saw a friend of mine the other day. His is a big, beautiful Russian man named Alex. We worked together and then I was relocated to a new building and he stayed at the old one. I always respected him because of his BRUTAL honesty (which is actually something I respect in a person...even when it borders on rude). I saw him once after my surgery and he said, "You look good." It was not really a WOW moment...although it should have been coming from him! 
But I saw him again last week. I was wearing a shirt that was pretty baggy (because I am not buying clothes right now) so I figured he would not notice any change in me since last month. But...I was wrong! He just kept looking at me saying, "Wow...WOW...wow..." Then he said, "You are really looking good. And you are getting taller and taller!" Then he stepped BEHIND me and said, "Whoa...you look great from THIS angle, too!" THAT was actually my "wow" moment...my backside was *never* my best side! 
Another WOW moment came yesterday in a meeting. I was all the way in the back of a crowded conference room where my meeting was being held but I HAD to go to the ladies room. Now, in the past, I would sit there in PAIN knowing there is no way I could squish past everyone to get to the door (there is practically no room between the chairs that people sit in and the wall). But this was the first time EVER that I did not worry about not fitting past....and I was right...I made it out with no problem...and no embarrassment!

Those are some great wow moments JM. Your friend is right, you do look good! How nice that it came from someone who is brutally honest as you know that he is complimenting you without sugar coating it. How great to have the freedom to get up and pass people without worrying about fitting. That's total freedom!!!
