Grey's Anatomy Recap- from my memory
Ok Girlies... heres the recap from my point of view....
Hopefully I can remember lol!!!
Denny and Izzie: Izzie cuts Denny's battery operated heart cord, thus making him going into heart failure so he can get the lone donar heart a few hours away by helicopter and Dr. Burke will fix him. Burke is shot and the bullet has done lots of damage... so can't operate. George calls Meredith as Izzie cuts the cord and she bursts in to help... Burke asks Christina to go and check on Denny since Izzie didn't sound right on the phone when he was at the other hospital. When Christina gets to Denny's room, she refuses to help, but after prodding, finally does and the interns try to save Denny. In the mean time, Bailey is looking for them and can't find them, she refers to them as her suck ups (it was funny part). When she finds them in Denny's room, she blows up and talks with them. She askes the nurse (forgot her name, but the cute redhead George had a fling with when he ended up with an STD) to take over the heart pump... Izzie yells at her, not to touch her... issues there 
Cut to Burke: (kinda fuzzy for me, but we'll see) The bullet is making him have some nervedamage/issues with his hand and he can't move the last couple of fingers (ring/pinky)... Sheppard and he know the drill- gotta wait a few days to see if swelling/issue resolves itself... It doesn't, so they have to do surgery. At the beginning of the show, Christina was super supportive and rock solid... over time, she's losing her edge and breaking. In surgery, Sheppard fears he damaged a nerve and needs to test Burke's reflexes with him awake... they request Christina's presence to keep him focus since Burke will want to resist the intebator and be in pain (arm is still open!) When they wake him up, Burke freaks out and Christina can't do anything! She like spaces, cracks, and just stands there looking at him. The whole time McDreamy is telling her to get him to focus- she can't do anything. Finally Derrick grabs Burke and makes him focus, more agonizing minutes and he's able to move his fingers! Yeah! No damage! Christina leaves all down.
Now we see Chief's wife coming into the hospital with her niece's two friends and boyfriend. Her niece was admitted to the hospital for fainting during her first intercourse. turns out it was prom night and everything was so special. The niece (forgt her name) battled ovarian (I think) cancer last year and has been in remission... unfortunately it returned.
Back to Denny- Alex went with Dr. Burke to harvest the heart... there were two donors in the beginning. One heart was for Denny and another for another patient who's doctor was 2nd in her class to Burke at John Hopkins (or wherever they went lol) She's all mean and refuses to give the heart to Denny... but after Izzie makes him sick and his stats drop, he gets the heart (background... the chick's patient was entered into the donor program 17 seconds before Denny, so the most in need was given priority) Since Burke was shot, Alex talks the chick into transplanting the heart into Denny. While in surgery, the heart wouldn't beat... it took a few minutes but finally it pumped on its own. (Sidenote- Izzie is now just a visitor, she's not an intern for an undetermined time)
In the meantime, all interns have decided they were all going to take the fall for the cutting of the cord.... there is no proof as to who actually cut it. Alex reluctanctly agrees.... they each have a sit down meeting with Chief too, and don't crack. so as punishment they all have to do everything his niece requests... which is to plan the biggest and best prom ever! (like, yeah! 
) Whoo hooo.... the prom is like in 2 days.... and they have a hard time helping the niece's two friends, but beg Bailey for help (hoping she'll know how to talk teenager- just like with her interns, she swoops in and helps out!)
Back to Denny- Before he went in for surgery, he asked Izzie to marry him. After surgery, he asks again, and Izzie just walks away. Well she comes back some time later and says YES! He's so happy- they both are.
Burke- He's working on his hand- doing physical therapy and being able to touch the fingers to his thumbs. He then tells Christina he's here for him and just wants to let her know that if she isn't, its ok.
The PROM-
Everything's all pretty! Everyone is in dresses, all glitz and glam. As Izzie is riing up the elevator to show Denny her dress (she looks like a princess!) Denny has trouble breathing and then you hear the flat line sound. In the meantime, McDreamy and Addison and Meredith and Van or Fin or whatever chit chat and then Mer leaves and Mcdreamy follows.... then they go to a room and get their groove on. 
I don't remember how they find Denny and Izzie, but Izzie is in bed with Denny just crying silently..... the interns are there. After a few minutes, Alex picks her up and sits with her on his lap as she cries. As they're walking out of the Prom, Izzie announces she quits.
The show ends with Meredith looking at McDreamy and Fin/flan,van and deciding just WHICH one she should chose.
It was an awesome show and I bawled like a baby! The chick who plays Izzie is an amazing actress! I can't wait to see her in movies!
