I Got my Promotion!!!

After months of being "groomed" for the night supervisor position at my work, I finally got my promotion yesterday!!! Not sure exactly what I've gotten myself into yet, considering I'll have to be the "bad guy" some times, but I'm ready for the challenge! ~Teri~

Yeah.... I figure since I raised 3 daughters, I've already had some practice being the bad guy on more than one occasion! Funny thing is now that they're all grown, they actually tell me that they appreciate that I was somewhat strict and had to put my foot down a couple times! ~Teri~

Teri, That is wonderful news! I hope you got a raise to go with that promotion!!!!! It is not bad being the bad guy when it is warranted. When you have to be the "heavy" for the company i.e. layoff etc. it is kinda hard. You will do great and it will give you an opportunity to pour your energy into something positive for yourself!
