Just wondering for all your moms out there...

What are the plans for the summer for your children......................Any vacation ideas. My 15th year old son will be attending summer school and trying to talk his father and me into paying for driving training course. Since they don't offer it at school. Looking forward to going to Great America a couple of times, Local Beaches, Swimming, .. And maybe going to visit my friend from high school in colorado since she will be moving from Arizonia in the next couple of weeks and working alot.... And most important Sneeking away with my hubby for our 17th Wedding Anniversary....July 2, 2006 for a couple of days NO KIDS ALOUD......WHEEEEE SUZAN

My husband and I will be at 24 this nov. too.

My son and I are going on a cruise on Memorial Day for 6 days w/ my surgeons and our bariatric support group. My cousin that has already lost 205 lbs. is going with us. My husband is working in California, so he won't be going. When he flies home in June for a week off, we're going to San Antonio for a few days and will float the river in New Braunfels, TX and go to SeaWorld. The end of July my son and I are going on a mission trip to help repair hurricane Rita damage for a week with our church. In August, we'll go to El Paso, TX to my nephew's wedding, and my husband will fly in to meet us for 4 days. We're going to stay busy. Karla

Wow, Karla...sounds like you are in for very busy (and very rewarding) summer! Have fun on your vacations and best of luck on your mission trip! I'm leaving for Paris a week from this Saturday. That will be two days after my son graduates from San Mateo High School. What a nice gift for him! Actually it's more for me. We are also going to Brussels and Amsterdam for a few days. I can hardly wait! Karen S.

We are leaving on June 19 for Rome, Italy. We will tour the city for 3 days then board a ship for a 10 day Mediterranean cruise. We are going to 2 islands in Greece, Naples, Sicily, Cannes (France), and Florence then back to Rome. I am excited. Then when we return, my daughter will spend 4 weeks in a summer music day camp: two weeks is string orchestra and two weeks is a jazz ensemble. Then she will do a 3 week drama camp and then have a couple of weeks off before school starts. We are also going to visit my mom in Southern CA for a few days in there somewhere. I am a school counselor and so am looking forward to 2 mos off! YEAH! Diana

I start my new job on the 30th of this month, and my kids will be here with my hubby til he goes to work then to our Aunt and Uncles house for about an hour before our cousin brings them back here to stay til I get home. My niece is moving here with us this summer from Alaska to live and go to college. My younger daughter Natalia is in gymnastics and just made team and she is going to start going twice a week and she is only 4, will be 5 on July 2nd. My 5 year old daughter, Sofia isnt sure what she wants to do yet, maybe gymnastics or she said maybe bowling again. My son will 2 on the 2nd of June and he isnt into anything yet except what he shouldnt be into, like things in the kitchen....LOL As far as any vacations...we have postponed everything because of work and the price of gas. So I will be busy with the kids and work for a while. Steph

Congrats on the wedding anniversary!!! WOOHOO! This Sunday it will be 19 years since my DH and my 1st kiss. We've been married 14 years. I am going to Gatlinburg, TN for this weekend. Going to visit Birmingham, Al where my parents and in laws live. And we will be going to the beach, visit an amusement park and swim at the Y. Just going to try to keep busy!! Have a great summer!
