Speaking of hair loss, does anyone know how long it lasts????

Since hair loss appears to be the topic of the day, does anyone know how long before it stops? My surgeon asked me at my 3 month check up if I was experiencing hair loss yet and at that time I wasn't. Well, 2-3 weeks later, it started coming out by the handful. I have quite a bit of hair, so I don't really notice it gone, but I would like it to stop. ANy ideas??? Lisa S. 227/161/140

Have been told 3 to 4 months. It usually starts around 4 months and goes to 8 months, so I have been told. UGGHHHHH!!!!!!! I wont have a hair left!!!!!

Yeah, I think my surgeon even said it could go into month nine. Yuck. That is what I am worried about too...if it keeps coming out at this rate I think I'll be bald before I reach a size 8! lol

Surely it tapers off, though, right? I mean, we won't lose at this massive rate the entire time, right? LOL -- Can you tell I'm a little worried about this?

I have heard so many stories i am getting worried that I may have no hair soon and yes I have massive red hair...my ponytails measure 4-5 inches around...so I cut my hair off to get through the summer and can not believe the bathroom floor every day!!! I plan on getting extension's in August if I see no difference. It is very nerve racking to see it every day just keep coming out like this. Some say Biotin helps but I see no difference yet. It is going to be a long summer at this rate. Deborah
