For the new challenge.....
Ok, rather than answer every reply to the last post, I figured I would just start a new one since most of you had the same question.
Here's how it will work:
This monday you will give me your CURRENT weight
Every Monday for the next month you will give me your NEW CURRENT weight
Based upon THIS MONDAY'S weight, I will calculate what % you lost (I will do this, so if you are bad at math, it's ok)
Every Tuesday I will post what each person's % of loss is from THIS MONDAY to THAT MONDAY.
Here is an example:
This monday: 200 pounds
Next monday: 195 pounds (% of loss is 2.5) This is figured out by taking the pounds lost (5) and dividing it by the starting weight (200)
I will ALWAYS use the STARTING weight to figure out your %. So lets say in the second week you loose 5 more pounds....now I will divide 10 by 200.
Understand...or am I getting you more confused?
I'm doing it this way because 10 pounds on someone who weighs 180 pounds is a higher % than 10 pounds on someone who weighs 400 pounds. Now on the flip side, 10 pounds is harder to loose for the 180 pound person than the 400 pound person. This is 100% fair in giving everyone an equal opportunity to win. Additionally, this gives us motivation to take advantage of what's left of this "honey moon phase"
